Our Story
Every great venture has an origin story, and ours began on February 25, 2018, the day Frank and Rebecca met. From the very first conversation, they discovered a shared passion for food, hospitality, and a burning desire to do things differently. They saw an industry full of opportunity being overlooked by companies growing complacent and knew that one day they would be the change it needed. But first, they chose love, deciding to build their relationship before building their dream.
Three years later, that dream became Teal. Founded in 2021, Teal was born from two people, two favorite colors, blue and green, and one unified vision. More than just a name, Teal represents a company built on partnership, fresh quality ingredients, and a commitment to creating a place where everyone in the community feels at home. Our first opportunity to bring that vision to life was Teal Kitchen & Cafe at 888 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge, NY and we haven't looked back since.
What started as a neighborhood cafe has grown into something much bigger. Today, Teal extends beyond our dining room into catering, corporate dining, and community service because we believe great hospitality should be accessible everywhere. We chose the name Teal intentionally, a brand not defined by limits, but by endless possibilities. And we're just getting started.
